7th Annual Trick-or-TrEAT Food Drive
Oct. 31, 2014 – Campus Food Bank
While trick-or-treating is traditionally about acquiring food for yourself, giving it away to the Campus Food Bank during its 7th Annual Trick-or-TrEAT drive is a more noble way to approach Halloween. Volunteers will be going door-to-door from 6-9 p.m. near the University of Alberta campus to collect non-perishable food item donations. Obviously, volunteers are encouraged to wear a costume, it is Halloween!
Oct. 18, 2014 – Laurier Park
Running a 5k is fun. Running it through a maze adds a little more excitement. Running it through a maze while zombies chase is like playing a real life video game, except you’ll be getting some actual exercise. As you run through the maze, zombies will try to take flags off your belt. Each flag represents your health. You’ll start with one flag, but you can acquire up to three more through donations. Learn more and join in the fun at this awesome event.
