Honda HR-V Release Date
Since we first heard news of the Honda HR-V potentially becoming the newest member of the Honda fleet this past April, we’ve been anxiously awaiting more details about the concept crossover. As we await official word on the Honda HR-V release date, Honda has announced the new crossover is expected to launch this winter, so we hope to see the first shipment on the lot in late 2014 or early 2015.
We also know it will make its debut at the Los Angeles Auto Show on Nov. 19, 2014. Now that Honda has released its first official photo of the new HR-V crossover, which looks nearly identical to concept photos, we can begin looking forward to its official debut in less than a month.
While we don’t have an abundance of information about the Honda HR-V, preliminary details have revealed that it will be based on the popular Honda Fit’s platform. With a center fuel tank layout, the HR-V is expected to be incredibly spacious for its class and with the Honda Magic seats, which are famously included in the Honda Fit, cargo capacity is sure to be one of the crossover’s strengths.
More details about the Honda HR-V will be released on Nov. 19 at 1:35 p.m. When that information is released, we’ll be sure to bring it to you on the Wheaton Honda blog.
