What Does Honda Eco Assist Do?

Most people want high fuel efficiency when driving, but we do not always realize that little habits can really effect the how many litres per 100 km we are actually getting. Everything from aggressive driving to speeding up too quickly after a stop can lower the fuel efficiency of your vehicle. The Eco Assist system provides information about how efficiently you are driving, letting you know when you are driving efficiently and when you are not. With this information you can change your driving habits to match what is most efficient.
The Eco Assist section lies in the instrument panel. The coloured lights on each side of the speedometer will light up white when you are driving inefficiently and green when you are driving efficiently. If you work on driving most like you do when you see green, you will be able to increase your fuel efficiency. Not only will the system provide you this information, it will also help you pay more attention to your driving habits so you can focus on how you are driving and make the necessary changes to make trips to make your fuel last longer.
The Eco Assist system is available in Honda vehicles like the 2015 Honda Accord Sedan and the 2015 Honda CR-V. If you would like to see first hand how the Eco Assist System works, stop into Wheaton Honda and take one of the equipped vehicles for a test drive.
