2016 Honda models similar to the Honda Crosstour
If you are wondering why you can’t find a 2016 Honda Crosstour, we have some sad news. Honda ceased production on the full-sized cross-over SUV in August 2015. While we are just as sad about the death of the Honda Crosstour as you are, let us show you two other Honda models similar to the Honda Crosstour that will serve you just as well.
Consider Going Larger with the 2016 Honda HR-V
Even though the Honda Crosstour was a cross-over, we recommend going for a compact SUV if you want or need the cargo space. The 2016 Honda HR-V is larger than the Honda Crosstour, but is still smaller than the 2016 Honda CR-V and 2016 Honda Pilot models. When you need versatility, the 2016 Honda HR-V is a great option because the back seats can be folded in a number of ways to accommodate your cargo. Under the hood, you will find a 141 horsepower in-line 4-cylinder engine, so your commute will smooth, but fun.
If you truly feel that the Honda HR-V is too large for your needs and enjoyed the partial sedan styling of the Crosstour, we recommend the 2016 Honda Accord sedan. It is larger than the 2016 Honda Civic, and despite not having the hatchback, there is plenty of cargo space thanks to the folding back seats. To make your downsized drive more fun and connected, several of the upper trims offer the HondaLink infotainment system, where you are able to enjoy your favorite smartphone apps safely and handsfree. The engines offered with the 2016 Honda Accord are an in-line 4-cylinder or a V6, depending on which trim level you choose.
Check Out Existing Models at Wheaton Honda
As much as we loved the Honda Crosstour and are sad to see it discontinued, we encourage you to consider the 2016 Honda HR-V or the 2016 Honda Accord. They are both great choices and will meet your needs. It is always possible that Honda could release a new model similar to the Crosstour in the future, but in the meantime, feel free to contact Wheaton Honda with any questions or to schedule a test drive for an existing model.
