You could win a 2016 Honda Civic at Tim Hortons

What is the grand prize for Tim Hortons RRRoll up the Rim to Win contest?

NOTE: Recently we discovered that in order to redeem your prize, you must bring in both sides of the rim when cashing in, as the other side has the pin number of the cup. This is to prevent cheating and make sure everyone gets the appropriate prize. Good luck rrrollers!

For the past twenty-nine years, Canadians – who happen to be fans of Tim Hortons coffee and doughnuts - have been able to take part in a pretty incredible chance to win big. 2016 represents the big 30, the contest’s thirtieth year in a row, and after handing out over 500-million prizes they’re ready to deliver even bigger. Which might be leaving you with just one question, what is the grand prize for the Tim Hortons RRRoll up the Rim to Win contest? How would you like to see the North American Car of the year in your garage?

2016 Honda Civic Sedan EX-T Front ProfileWell, first of all, you might be asking what exactly the RRRoll up the Rim to Win contest even is. We can answer that question to. When you order a coffee at Tim Hortons, you can roll up the rim of the cup to reveal whether or not you’ve won, and what you’ve won. There will be millions of winners, as some prizes are just coffee or donuts – or both.

But there are plenty of bigger prizes as well, like the 25,000 people who will win $100 TimCards, which are gift cards for Tim Hortons restaurants. 120 people will win LG 4K OLED televisions and 100 people will win $5,000 CIBC prepaid gift cards. But above all of those great prizes are the 40 grand prizes, and what a doozy they are.

40 people won’t walk away from the RRRoll up the Rim to Win contest, but rather drive away behind the wheel of an all-new 2016 Honda Civic Sedan EX-T, which – as we mentioned – was just recently named the North American Car of the Year, and has been the best-selling car in Canada for 17 years. The contest kicked off this morning, and will run through April 17th, so be sure to hurry into your nearest Tim Hortons for a coffee and your chance to win a brand-new car.
