City Market

City Market is actually a year-round farmers market. Starting next month, you’ll be able to find them on 104th Street, but around thanksgiving they move into City Hall. You can find all sorts of different vendors and community tables at City Market, and occasionally they even have special events like the upcoming Mother’s Day special that treats the first 150 moms. Make sure to check out City Market this summer, and don’t forget to revisit at their City Hall location in the winter.

Old Strathcona Farmer's Market

Every Saturday between 8 in the morning and 3 in the afternoon you can head to 10310 83 Avenue NW for the Old Strathcona Farmers Market. With over 130 vendors every weekend, you can find a ton of different kinds of fruits, vegetables and even herbs. At the center of the market there is even a concession stand and café known as Toast Kitchen, where you can enjoy a freshly-made local meal each week.

124 Grand Market

Lastly, we have the 124 Grand Market which will be moving to the east side of 102 Avenue, located between 124 & 123, when they open on May 12th. An interesting different between this market and the others, is that it runs from 4-8 p.m. on Thursday evenings, rather than on weekend mornings. If your weekends are usually packed, head over to the Grand Market on Thursday nights to get all the fresh fruits and veggies you need!

We hope that you enjoy your summer season and get plenty of fresh, local produce and more at one of these or any other farmers market. If you think you know of a different farmers market that we should’ve included, be sure to let us know!
