2016 Team Honda Week of Service North America
In honor of Honda North America’s Founder’s Day, the company is coordinating a massive event unlike anything they’ve ever done before. Uniting the three major countries of North America, 2016 Team Honda Week of Service North America will bring Team Honda members from actual Honda companies, Honda dealerships and Honda suppliers together in an effort to better the communities around them.
“Honda associates have a strong tradition of community service and we are so pleased to have so many of our partners join us in this first Team Honda Week of Service to help make our communities more vibrant. This event is an example of the power of coming together as one team. By working with the non-profit organizations in our communities, we hope to make a positive impact for our many neighbors.”
– Rick Schostek, Executive Vice President, Honda North America, Inc.

The event – which kicked off earlier today – will feature participants from here in Canada, down in Mexico as well as 41 different states in the US. With close to 15,000 Honda company employees volunteering, in addition to volunteers from 76 different supplier companies and over 325 dealers, we foresee a huge impact on the communities that Honda touches.
We don’t know exactly what events will take place or what will be occurring throughout the 10-day event until it ends on the 19th, but we’ll be keeping an eye out and hope to jump in on the action ourselves! You can keep up to date with the happenings of the Week of Service by checking the #TeamHondaCares Twitter hashtag, or by visiting the page linked below. But we’ll keep you updated here with any information that surfaces about how the Week of Service touches Edmonton, so stay tuned.
