Of course, the 2016 Honda CR-V is equipped with a ton of basic safety features. To help you come to a complete stop as soon as you need to, features like anti-lock brakes, Electronic Brake-force Distribution and Brake Assist all work together to help. Of course other features like Vehicle Stability Assist, Traction Control, Tire Pressure Monitoring System, Hill Start Assist and plenty of airbags make sure you’re safe in a multitude of situations. Technologies like the back-up camera and Honda LaneWatch, which features a camera on the passenger-side mirror, help to prevent collisions even further But Honda Sensing, of course, takes safety to a whole new level with a host of driver-assistive features.

Honda Sensing in the ’16 CR-V

We’ve talked about the Honda Sensing Safety Suite multiple times on our website, but we thought we’d go over the features included in the 2016 Honda CR-V again just to remind you. Collision Mitigation Braking System will brake for you when it senses an imminent forward collision, Lane Keeping Assist System makes sure you stay in your lane, Forward Collision Warning will tell you when you’re getting too close to the vehicle in front of you, Adaptive Cruise Control adds distance to the cruise function and automatically slows down if you start getting too close to a vehicle in front of you and Lane Departure Warning will warn you if you start drifting out of your lane.

If these safety features have you interested in a 2016 Honda CR-V of your own, be sure to schedule a test drive right here on our website or give us a call at the sales desk.
