Toronto Blue Jays & Honda Canada Fan Appreciation Weekend
A few weeks back was the final big-time Honda giveaway night for the Toronto Blue Jays 2016 baseball season. Sorry for the delay, but wanted to make sure we filled you in on what happened at the game. Not only did one lucky fan drive home from Fan Appreciation Weekend in an all-new 2016 Honda Civic Coupe, but the home team Toronto Blue Jays beat the Yankees 4-3 in the bottom of the 9th.

“Fan Appreciation Weekend is about connecting the players with the fans. At Honda, we also understand the importance of connecting our brand with our customers and we do this by offering Canadians quality products and exceptional customer service. The Blue Jays are Canada’s baseball team and the Honda Civic is Canada’s car, so we’re very proud to partner with the Jays throughout such an exciting season.”

The Prizes & Giveaways
We’ve covered some of the previous giveaways in the past, like the Canada Day Towels. Last time, one lucky fan drove home in a brand-new Civic Sedan. This time, Matthew Lax of Toronto, Ontario got to take the new Civic Coupe for a spin on his way home – and, of course, he gets to keep it! But, just like other winners from every single one of the 81 home games this season, Liana Bacon and Janice Javier took too home brand new Honda lawnmowers.

We love seeing Honda show up and support our Toronto Blue Jays just as much as we enjoy seeing the Jays stomp all over their opponents. We’re going to keep watching them this season, crossing our fingers that they make it all the way to the World Series and bring home the championship. And we can’t wait to see what kind of giveaways Honda Canada lines up for next year.
