2017 Honda Accord Hybrid Canadian Pricing & Fuel Efficiency

A few weeks ago we announced the next all-new Honda vehicle for the upcoming model year: the 2017 Honda Accord Hybrid. We cannot wait to get behind the wheel and experience the vehicle for ourselves when it arrives, especially considering Honda has already claimed it will be the most efficient and powerful midsize hybrid on the market. But for now, let’s dive into two of the most questioned aspects of a new vehicle, the 2017 Honda Accord Hybrid Canadian pricing & fuel efficiency ratings.

“The Accord Hybrid is the ultimate Accord, offering exceptional dynamic qualities with the greatest technological sophistication and fuel efficiency in the Accord family. Consumers have … [recognized] its unique combination of performance, value, efficiency and refinement, and the 2017 Accord Hybrid ups the game in each of these traits.”

- Jeff Conrad, Senior Vice President, General Manager, Honda Division, American Honda Motor Co., Inc.

Fuel Economy Ratings

As we mentioned when touching on the Accord Hybrid specs & features, the all-new model’s new 2.0L 4-cylinder engine will deliver 4.9 l/100km through city streets and 5.1 l/100km on the highway, giving it the best-in-class fuel efficiency. And unlike most hybrid vehicles, it doesn’t sacrifice power to get there, as it generates 212 horsepower – also the best in class.

Manufacturer’s Suggest Retail Price

While pricing details haven’t yet been released, based on the announced Manufacturer’s Suggested Retail Price (MSRP) of the U.S. version, we believe the base price for the all-new 2017 Honda Accord Hybrid will be around $38,209. We can confirm that for sure, but that is our current guess for where the price will be.

We can’t wait for the significantly updated Hybrid version of the Honda Accord to arrive sometime later this year, and we’ll continue to keep you updated as more information becomes available, including a specific release date. If you have any questions until then, don’t hesitate to give us a call!
