How do CabinWatch & CabinTalk work?
Last week at the kickoff of the 2017 North American International Auto Show in Detroit, the all-new, next-generation Honda Odyssey made its debut. The vehicle underwent a ton of changes in order to present something fresh and new to customers, and we believe you’ll be quite excited once you actually get your hands on them. But there were loads of new features and technologies announced for the vehicle, including last week’s Magic Slide seats. But for this week’s How’s This Work, we thought we’d look at a couple others: CabinWatch & CabinTalk.
[ LAST WEEK: What are Magic Slide seats? ]
What is CabinWatch?
If you’ve got a growing family, a minivan is the perfect vehicle. But just having a minivan doesn’t prevent your children from causing mischief in the back seats. It can be both difficult and extremely dangerous to try to keep an eye on them at all times, which is exactly why CabinWatch was introduced. With the use of a camera system tethered to the display audio screen, you can now see everything that’s going on in the back without turning around at all.
What is CabinTalk?
Plus, you no longer have to scream or turn down the music to get through to them thanks to CabinTalk. Whereas CabinWatch lets you see them, CabinTalk lets you speak to them. Utilizing a microphone system, your voice can now be transmitted through speakers in both the second and third row as well as through the headphones connected to the rear-seat entertainment system.
Road trips have become even easier and less stressful now thanks to the 2018 Honda Odyssey, so if you think you might be interested be sure to give us a call.
