Good Housekeeping has been one of the most popular magazines on newsstands since 1885. That is a long time for a print publication to continue putting out incredible issues. Last week, the global publication announced the winners of its 2017 Best New Car Awards. The winners are listed and spotlighted in the magazine’s February issue, but since we’re excited about one thing in particular we thought we’d tell you right here on our blog: the 2017 Honda Accord Sport was named Best New Sedan.

“We were impressed by the roomy interior, superior gas mileage and perfectly placed steering wheel buttons. The Accord has tons of available add-ons that are usually only on pricier cars, like smart braking and lane-keeping assist. In the hybrid, when you use the turn signal, a camera pops up on the center screen to let you see blind spots.”

2017 Honda Accord Sedan Sport Edition Best New Sedan
In case you were wondering, The Good Housekeeping Institute worked closely with Car and Driver, another extremely popular publication, to determine award winners for their 2017 Best New Car Awards. Starting with over 100 different vehicles, they narrowed the list down to 25 models and drove over 1,200 miles total before rating the vehicles in terms of value, safety, handling, cabin design, comfortability and even the smoothness of the ride.
In the end, seven different vehicles were recognized in different categories, and the 2017 Honda Accord Sedan Sport Edition was one of them. If you think you might be interested in one of these vehicles, be sure to reach out to us here at the sales desk.
