“Honda has developed a strong reputation for providing dependable vehicles Canadians can count on. We’re grateful to CBB and ALG for recognizing Honda as a company that delivers quality vehicles Canadians can trust.”
– Jean Marc Leclerc, Vice President, Honda Sales and Marketing
Each year, ALG announces 27 different category winners and two brand winners for their Residual Value Awards. The awards honor those vehicles that ALG predicts will retain the most of their original MSRP after four years of ownership. They look at things like segment competition, historical vehicle performance, industry trends and much more. This year, four different Honda vehicles were given the honors. The 2017 Honda CR-V for the Compact Utility category, the 2017 Honda Odyssey for the Minivan category, the 2017 Honda Accord for the Midsize Car category and the 2017 Honda Fit for the Subcompact Car category.
Canadian Black Book Awards
The fifth and final recognition that Honda was awarded at the Canadian International Auto Show was one of Canadian Black Book’s Best Retained Value Awards. These awards are almost identical to ALG’s Residual Value Awards in terms of who they’re awarded to. The 2017 Honda Odyssey was named the winner of the Minivan segment.
