All-new 2018 Honda Accord Canadian Release Date

All-new 2018 Honda Accord Canadian Release Date

For the 2018 model year, an all-new, completely redesigned Honda Accord has been introduced that we couldn’t be more pleased with. Following in the Civic’s footsteps, the Accord is now in its tenth generation as a vehicle, and it’s more stylish and sporty than ever before. Since we’ve barely gotten a chance to speak about the new model yet, we wanted to give you a closer look at what’s new in the vehicle ahead of its Canadian release date.

“Building on the bedrock character of Accord – its outstanding quality, fuel efficiency, packaging and sophisticated driving dynamics – the 10th-generation Accord injects a new level of emotional appeal and premium quality.”

Honda engineers went all in on the new Accord, redesigning it from the ground up with a new chassis design and a more rigid structure. Unless you have a keen eye, you might not be able to notice that from a glance, but you’ll certainly notice the new front end and many other changes to the style.

When it comes to new specifications, the most exciting and obvious are the all-new, first-ever turbocharged engine options and 10-speed automatic transmission. The two engine options offer 192 horsepower or 252 HP, both of which are nice increases over the previous iteration.

New features include an updated 8” display audio screen, new high-accuracy seat padding for improved comfort, heating and ventilation in said seats, a new driver-assistive safety technology called Traffic Sign Recognition and even a couple of new airbags targeting both the driver and front passenger’s knees.

Certain 2018 Honda Accord models will begin arriving this very month, starting with the Sedan & Coupe equipped with the 1.5L turbocharged engine. Next month, the 2.0L turbocharged engine models will begin arriving. The new accord Hybrid will not arrive until early next year.
