2019 Honda Pilot Canadian Release Date

We’ve been waiting for the next exciting piece of information to come from Honda regarding the 2019 model year, and we finally got it. Today, Honda surprised us with news that the 2019 Honda Pilot received a facelift before entering production, and we cannot wait to see it for ourselves later this year. While an exact release date here in Canada has yet to be announced, we expect it to arrive anytime in the next couple of months. We’ll be sure to clue you in once it’s available, but you can always check out our inventory to see if it has arrived.

What’s new in the 2019 Pilot?

It’s important to remember that this isn’t a complete redesign, but rather just a mid-generation refresh. Many things remain the same as last year’s Honda Pilot, but plenty has changed to have us quite excited for its upcoming arrival here at Wheaton Honda! The exterior has been reworked to deliver more aggressiveness then the current Pilot offers, via updated front and rear ends.

There are also a host of new features coming to the 2019 Honda Pilot or getting standardized. Currently, Honda Sensing is only available on certain trim levels, but in 2019 it will be a standard feature across all trim levels, which is super exciting! Other new features include an updated display audio system, a redesigned instrument cluster, a larger Rear Entertainment System, and so much more.

Performance Specs

We cannot wait to experience all of the new features available in the 2019 Honda Pilot when it arrives, but we thought we’d highlight a few of the specifications that the Pilot offers whether they’re new or not. It’s powered by a 3.5L V6 engine capable of doling out 280 horsepower alongside 262 pound-feet of torque, and its fuel efficiency varies depending on trim level and transmission – ranging from 10.2 to 11.2 l/100km combined.

Be sure to stay glued to our blog here for more information about the updated specs & features of the Honda Pilot. You can also get in touch with us if you know you’re interested in getting behind the wheel, and we’ll stay in touch with direct updates for you!
