We’ve already given you a general look at the confirmed specs & features of the 2019 Honda Passport, but now we’d like to dig a bit deeper into one specific aspect of the vehicle: its technology. Most vehicles on the marketplace as a whole in today’s age are packed full of great technologies from their advanced safety features to the numerous functions available on their dashboard and, in particular, their display audio screen. We’ll highlight just a few of the great features found in the all-new Passport today.

Safety Features

Let’s start first by briefly touching the Honda Sensing suite. This package of advanced, driver-assistive safety features has been around for the past couple of years, so by now you probably know plenty about the technologies that it includes. But, just to recap, Honda Sensing features the Collision Mitigation Braking System, Forward Collision Warning, Road Departure Mitigation, Lane Departure Warning, Lane Keeping Assistance System and Adaptive Cruise Control. Other safety tech includes the multi-angle rearview camera, overhead bird’s eye view, Rear Cross-Traffic Detection, parking sensors and more.

Entertainment

2019 Honda Passport Exterior Rear with Open TailgateThere are plenty of outstanding, exciting technologies found in the Passport that enhance entertainment. For starters, the Sport trim features a 215-watt audio system with six speakers and a subwoofer standard. Higher trim levels upgrade the Sport’s 5” display audio screen to an 8” touchscreen that features Apple CarPlay and Android Auto connectivity, among other features. The Touring and Elite trim levels upgrade the sound system to 590 watts and 10 speakers.
