What do we know so far?
At this point, very few details are available on either of the new Honda Clarity models. We know we’ll get a better look and find out more about them at the NYIAS, but we thought we’d fill you in on what we do know so far in regards to the two new Clarity sedans, and Honda’s plan as a whole. When it comes to Honda’s overall plan, we know that the Clarity Plug-in Hybrid and Clarity Electric are just the beginning in terms of their electrified lineup. Recently, Honda declared that it intends for 66.66% of its automotive sales to be represented by electrified vehicles by 2030, globally. So, the two new Clarity vehicles will certainly help the brand reach that goal.
As for what we know about these two models, we do have some ideas. For instance, we know that the two models – in addition to the Clarity Fuel Cell Vehicle – will have a new exterior aesthetic as the Clarity was just remodeled. With an elegant, futuristic and unique design, every Clarity is sure to turn heads when it becomes available.
We also know the new Clarity models will offer many of the same interior features available in regular Honda vehicles, like a display audio system that offers Android Auto and Apple CarPlay, and the entire Honda Sensing safety suite. As more specifics and details become available about the whole new line of Honda Clarity vehicles becomes available after NYIAS, we’ll be sure to fill you in.
