The 2016 model year was perhaps the biggest in the history of the Honda Civic family of vehicles. The Civic has always been one of the most popular vehicles on the lineup, especially here in Canada where it has been the best-selling passenger car for nearly two decades, maybe longer. But 2016 saw the introduction of the brand’s tenth generation. It completely reimagined the entire family, doing away with some underperforming models and introducing new versions that were sure to make a huge impact. Now four years later, we’re stoked to introduce the 2019 Honda Civic Sedan in Edmonton AB.
The Civic Sedan was the vehicle that kicked off the tenth generation, so it’s only right that it be the first 2019 version we see as well. While nothing major was necessary, considering just how popular the tenth-gen Civic models have been, the Sedan has undergone a few exciting upgrades.
Specs & Features of the 2019 Civic Sedan
Perhaps the most exciting update to the Civic Sedan is the standardization of the Honda Sensing Safety Suite across all trim levels. In addition to this, however, the Sedan has a refreshed exterior design, outwardly expressing its sportiness and sophistication even more than before. The display audio system has been updated as well, including the addition of a volume knob which is something that tons of owners requested.
Finally, a brand-new Sport trim level rounds out the additions to the 2019 model year. Offering several design cues unique to the rest of the lineup, the Sport trim level includes larger 18” wheels and tires, improved handling and several additional features meant to increase the vehicle’s value. We’re incredibly excited about the newest member of the tenth-generation Honda Civic family and cannot wait for it to arrive so that you can hop behind the wheel.
