10727-82 Avenue NW, Edmonton, AB T6E 2B1
Whether it’s the feeling you get when you’re handed a cup of coffee with your name horribly misspelled, or the experience of carefully lifting the lid on a white box embossed with one small symbol to see a shiny, new (un-cracked) smartphone staring back at you, customers go through positive and negative brand experiences every day. At the Don Wheaton Group in Edmonton, we hope that our customers remember the nice people at Wheaton Honda, that Toyota on the Trail will have you on your way quickly and easily, or that you’re going to be given a ‘Cadillac’ experience at Don Wheaton on Whyte, regardless of what vehicle you drive away in. We need a new face help us help our customers as our Brand Manager for the three Edmonton stores in our dealer group.
Our ideal Brand Manager has a willingness to listen and observe, and the ability to think creatively and innovatively while utilizing their research and analytical skills to help each dealership team conceptualize and carry out their marketing and customer experience goals, but isn’t afraid to voice their concerns or tell us what they think we should do. Previous experience with automotive dealerships, budget management, and CRM software are all assets, but a strong understanding of Google Analytics, and a familiarity with current trends, technologies, and strategies with regard to online and in-store advertising, graphic design paired with a willingness to learn about the automotive industry and our dealerships is key. If you’re over buzz words like “self-starter” and “team player,” but know that they describe your working capabilities past a flashy cover letter, we want to meet you.
The Don Wheaton Group of Companies has been serving Edmontonians for over 50 years. Our track record of long-term staff retention is a testament to the way we do business, as well as our appreciation for the diversity in strengths that each employee brings to the table. We offer an extensive company benefit package and RRSP matching plan.
This role is a full-time, permanent position, and is available to start immediately for the right person. All candidates must have a valid Class-5 Alberta Driver’s License and clean driver’s abstract, as well as a proven track record of reliability or long-term employment. To apply, please send your resume in Word or PDF format. We thank all applicants for their interest; however, only those selected for an interview will be contacted.
