The engine is one of the biggest changes for the 2016 Civic. An all-new 2.0L four-cylinder produces 158 hp and 138 lb-ft of torque and manages up to 6.9L/100km combined. The other engine is a 1.5L turbocharged unit that serves up 174 hp and 162 lb-ft of torque while managing up to 6.7L/100km combined. Both engines are paired with Honda’s latest generation of CVT transmissions for increased economy and a linear throttle response.
