The Honda Ridgeline was released in March 2005 for the 2006 model year, as Honda’s first venture into the North American pickup truck market. The Ridgeline was awarded Motor Trend’s Truck of the Year for 2006 and is currently the only car-based pickup truck in the United States and Canada. The Ridgeline is still in its first generation.
